Floral Printed Walnut Tray

Product Brief Description

1. A Walnut Frame Around A Printed Panel

The tray is built as a frame: four walnut rails mitred at the corners, a shallow rebate inside, and a printed panel dropped into it so the surface sits flush with the wood. That construction keeps the print flat and stops it lifting at the edge, which is the failure point on a cheaper tray where paper is glued onto a solid base. In a floral wooden tray the frame is also what a hand actually holds.

2. An Oval Handle In Each Short End

Each short end carries an oval cut out, routed through the walnut rail rather than screwed on as a metal fitting. The opening is wide enough for four fingers and shallow enough that a cup does not slide toward it. Because the handle is part of the rail there is nothing to work loose, and the line of the frame stays continuous, which matters when a decorative tray with handles is photographed from the side.

3. Muted Florals In Blush, Sand And Sage

The print is deliberately low contrast: clusters of pale pink and cream flowers over a sand ground, with sage leaves and a few darker stems for depth. It reads as fabric rather than as a poster, so it sits with linen, rattan and aged brass. Colour is the most requested change on this printed tray, and the panel can be reprinted in a buyer's own artwork or matched to a seasonal palette.

4. Coffee Table And Console Styling

On a coffee table the tray gathers what otherwise spreads out: a candle, a cup, a book, a remote. The raised frame means the objects travel as one load when the table is cleared. On an entryway console the same walnut serving tray holds keys, sunglasses and a small vase, and the print gives the surface something to look at when it is empty, which is most of the day.

5. Tea, Cake And Serving

Used for service, the tray carries a teapot, two cups and a plate of cake without the cups sliding, because the frame contains them and the print hides ring marks better than bare wood. The flat panel wipes clean in a way an open-grain board cannot, so a cafe can use the same floral wooden tray for service and for display without it looking worn by the end of a season.

6. Vanity, Bedroom And Bathroom

The other half of the market uses a walnut serving tray as storage: perfume and jewellery on a dressing table, skincare on a bathroom counter, a candle and a book beside a bed. A custom printed tray in this size sits inside a drawer unit or on a narrow shelf, and the print keeps a small cluster of bottles from looking like clutter. Buyers usually photograph two rooms to show both roles.

7. Care And Packing

Wipe the panel with a damp cloth and dry it at once, and keep the walnut frame out of standing water and away from a dishwasher. A coat of food grade oil once or twice a year keeps the frame from drying at the mitres. Each tray is wrapped in tissue with corner protection and packed in a customized carton; carton size and gross weight are [To Be Confirmed] once the outer size is fixed.

8. Colour, Logo, Size And Wholesale

Size, print and logo are open. The tray can be scaled for a retailer's shelf, the panel reprinted in a house pattern, and a logo applied to the underside or the outside of the frame where it does not interrupt the flowers. Minimum order is 200 pieces and customized packing is quoted with the tray. Artwork, print colour and frame stain for each custom printed tray are approved on a physical sample before production.
